We know hiring responsibilities and team structures can shift, so LANDED lets you easily set or update the Hiring Manager for any role.
This ensures the right person is always in charge and your candidate pipeline stays organized.
- Log in to the LANDED portal.
- Click on Organization in the right-hand navigation bar. From the dropdown options, select Locations.
- Click on View store details next to the location at which you’d like to modify Hiring Manager assignments.
- Scroll down to the Users section.
Here, you’ll see all users who have been set as Hiring Managers (marked as YES in the Hiring Manager column) or cc’d on interview invites (marked as NO in the Hiring Manager column).
There are two ways to update Hiring Manager assignments. Choose the method that works best for you to keep your hiring process running smoothly.
Method 1: Three-Dot Icon
- Locate the user whose assignment you would like to adjust. Click the three-dot icon to the right of the user’s name.
- If they are currently set as a Hiring Manager and you would like to remove the assignment, select Remove as Hiring Manager from the dropdown menu that appears.
- If they are not currently set as a Hiring Manager and you would like to instate the assignment, select Set as Hiring Manager from the dropdown menu that appears.
Method 2: Edit assignments
- Click Edit assignments. On the Users page, you will be shown all users and their role assignments.
- Locate the Manager section and click Edit.
- Under the Roles section, select which roles you would like your user to be assigned as Hiring Manager for.
Please note that they will automatically receive calendar invites unless the checkbox under Opt out of calendar invites is checked.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Update user to confirm.
